Salon Mario Russo at Fan Pier is located on Boston’s historic waterfront. Since 1991, the Salon was originally located in the historic New England Museum of Natural History building in Boston’s Back Bay. In the fall of 2010, Mario chose to join a unique group of forward-thinking businesses, including LouisBoston that are collectively transforming the waterfront area into one of the most captivating neighborhoods of the city. Fan Pier is the city’s largest “green” neighborhood, known as the “Innovation District”, where harbor living and city life converge. Fan Pier spans 21 acres across nine city blocks. Its location provides a fast and easy access to all major interstate highways, public transit and Logan International Airport.
Our waterfront location provides spectacular views of Boston Harbor and the Boston Skyline, and is nestled on the Harbor Walk. Inspired by Mario’s association as a Board member of the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Salon’s aesthetic is minimalist, modern and industrial. Contemporary artwork is featured from different artists quarterly at the Salon. This unique space is designed to accommodate 2 to 15 stylists. It’s the ideal location for a bride and her bridal party on her wedding day. Please consult with our bridal coordinator for details.
The Fan Pier team was personally selected and certified by Mario to reflect the diversity of the neighborhood. They have been recognized by In Style magazine, The Improper Bostonian, W magazine and Boston magazine’s best of 2011 edition for Best Color.
It is our philosophy that beautiful hair makes a statement. To support our clients’ hair integrity in and out of the salon we use and recommend the following professional hair care lines: Bumble & Bumble, Oribe, the men’s line V76 and Illumai. For your convenience, Salon Mario Russo at Fan Pier accepts all major credit cards and debit cards for hair services only, and offers valet parking at our waterfront location.
We welcome you to experience Salon Mario Russo at Fan Pier.
