Mario opened a new location in 2010 at Fan Pier on Boston’s historic waterfront. Mario selected the waterfront area because it is one of the most captivating new neighborhoods in the city. In addition to the salon there is Louis Boston, the ICA, and some of the city’s most noteworthy restaurants. Fan Pier is the city’s largest “green” neighborhood and has been deemed the “Innovation District”. Waterfront living and city life converge to create an urban experience that Boston business innovators have embraced.
The waterfront location is on the Harbor Walk and has spectacular views of Boston Harbor and the Boston Skyline. Mario is a board member of the Institute of Contemporary Art and his love of contemporary art is reflected in the salon’s modern industrial design. Each season Mario curates a contemporary art exhibit that features his favorite artists at the salon. Mario has carefully selected a team of stylists that would reflect the diversity of the neighborhood and provide the high standard of service that his salon provides their clientele. The team has been recognized by In Style magazine, The Improper Bostonian, W magazine and Boston magazine’s Best of 2011 for Best Color.
Mario and his staff’s philosophy is that beautiful hair makes a statement. To support our client’s hair integrity in and out of the salon the team will offer consultation on the best hair care products for each individual’s hair. In addition the waterfront salon offers the perfect location for your bridal party to gather for a full bridal beauty experience. The on staff bridal consultant will make a bride’s day seamless.
